Blake Shelton is double trouble on GAC in the coming week as he guests on Friday’s Top 20 Country Countdown and receives his own installment of Backstory: Blake Shelton on Tuesday.

Girlfriend Miranda Lambert joins friends, family and business associates to reflect in Backstory on Blake, whose performance of Bob Seger’s “Old Time Rock & Roll” at age 12 makes its way into the special. It was doing that number that convinced Blake to pursue music full-time.

“Right then is when he got the bug and thought, ‘Man, I want to do this,’” his mom says.Blake has done quite well at it. Among his hits during the decade are “Some Beach,” “Austin,” “Home,” “She Wouldn’t Be Gone” and “I’ll Just Hold On.”
