While I agree with many posters that say Taylor can't sing LIVE, needs studio enhancements to sound good, I give her credit for her songwriting. I do hope she intends to "grow up" some and not be singing about highschool & fairytales til she's 50 though. She's got some good videos too. I can understand her getting awards, just not for vocals.

Poptart makes it a habit to go to a lot of Taylor Swift threads and Taylors videos just to bash her because she is a jealous hateful person. Poptart is a Miranda Lambert fan and hates anything Taylor because Taylor has became way more sucessful than Miranda. You know instead of spending yout time hating on Taylor Poptart why don't you spend that time promoting Miranda.

Getting back on the subject here, Taylor is an awesome artist and song-writer and very much deserved this win. Congrats to Taylor Swift and Alan Jackson both excellent and derserving winners.

It is true that there are many great country artists, but it is wonderful to see a young talented artist like Taylor Swift recognised for her songwrting and singing abilities. One of Taylor’s most endearing qualities is her awe, love & respect for the country music community of artists. Taylor is such a sweet girl & an amazing talent. Congratulations to Taylor Swift.

there are other alot more talented singers in country music , than taylor , carrie , brad , keith sugarland ,toby, just to name a few that always gets the publicity , come on everyday it, is the same old artist , same old song getting played on radio ,give other artist a chance to be heard , if the listeners get to choose , then the songs might be alot different, instead of radio shoving the music down the peoples throats, but I sure the programmers don’t play the same artist/song 40to50 times a week without they are getting something from the record labels
