Jason Aldean has seen some crazy things at his shows. “I’ve seen a lot of body parts,” he tells GAC. “And one time, we were playing my hometown in Macon, Georgia and this guy ran up on the stage and jumped off the other side and broke his leg, so that was pretty crazy. I don’t think he felt it, though. He was pretty rockin’.”
Jason’s crazy fans have helped propel his latest single, “Big Green Tractor,” to the top spot for several weeks. He tells AOL’s The Boot that he’s built his career by playing wherever, whenever.
“For the first couple years we played 200 shows a year, everything from bowling alleys to birthday parties,” says Jason. “I remember while we were opening for Rascal Flatts, we’d be with them one night in a 10,000-seat arena and the next night we’d be literally in a bowling alley, playing for 150 people.”
“It was fun,” he says, “and I think if you do that and you see success, you work that much harder to keep it – and you don’t take it for granted.”

(Dawg Will Hunt!!!) i grew up out west in riverside,Ca. growing up we lived near some hills that we called country in the middle of the city,riding dirt bikes ect…always ditching the fuzz and getting chased out to hills by the police helicopter,screw them..Now you can,t even ride without a lame nieghbor complaining… Anyway i always listen to Rock music and some good old school country music.. when you arrived in 2005 with hicktown, it was a change i had to make… Even out here in the west,, threre is still some good ol'boys supporting your ride!!!! keep on huntin' for that #1 I even got my wife of 14yrs. to start listening to country thanx to (wide open) Jason Aldean,building memmories and kickin' some a*s. Jason, your music's so awesome! The concert you did at the Jonesboro Convocation center was my 1st concert. It was really cool to hear the songs live. I hope you keep the awesome music coming. By the way Asphalt Cowboy's a really awesome song!

Hey Jason. Just Wanted You To Know That Your Hit "Big Green Tractor" Is The Song We Think About My Best Friend, Luke Thomas Howell Of Pelion, SC. He passed away July 4th of this year and was your everyday average Joe. He meant the world to me and you just don't know how bad it hurts to know he is gone. We got t-shirts made for him and we put the big green tractor on the back. That's his nickname…I had the song "Big Green Tractor" as my texting tone and he would always be around when it would go off and would pick at me and say, "I am takin you on my big green tractor baby girl so lets go, haha." I miss him soo much and it hurts listening to that song, but that was his song and it reminds me of his personallity so much, especially with his 4month falling on my 18th birthday…but I keep reminding myself he is in a better place and I have a feeling he is up in heaven driving his big green tractor around. WOW! That's such an awesome story! I'm so sorry you lost your friend and hope that you continue to find confort in hearing that song. Your friend may not be here, but at least you'll always have Big Green Tractor to remember him by. He sounds like a really cool person.
i just gotta say jason is #1 in bluffs, illinois. he played at the sangamon county fair in july, and it meant alot.

My 5 year old granddaughter thinks Jason is just great! Her favorites are now Toby and Jason. She has seen a Toby concert and wants to see Jason. Could he please come to Houston sometime?
