The “King of Country” is back! 17x CMA Entertainer of the Year nominee George Strait will kick off his arena tour early next year and this time, he’s bringing along one very special lady – Reba McEntire.
The superstar acts performed together for the first time in many years for a sold-out crowd at the Cowboy’s Stadium inaugural event in Dallas. Selling out in less than an hour, fans and critics proclaimed the show one hot ticket! The concert was hailed by the Dallas Morning News as “an extravaganza” that “showcased Strait at the pinnacle of his musical game” and Ft. Worth Star Telegram wrote “Reba McEntire’s performance was a breathtaking master’s class in effortless brilliance.”
With 57 number one hits, 33 multi-platinum albums and countless sold-out shows year after year, Strait who holds the record for the most CMA wins and a record 17 CMA Entertainer of the Year nominations, is known for giving fans exactly what they want and expect. This year will be no exception.
“I can’t wait to get back out there and perform some of my new favorites from Twang along with hits the fans already love,” says Strait. “And with my friend Reba, we will make it a really spectacular night.”

It looks like the superstar guy/girl tour is the in thing this year. Just last month Martina McBride and Trace Adkins announced their “Shine All Night Tour” and now George and Reba set the dates for what will no-doubt be a huge tour as well. Did all you fans from Texas not read the article? They just performed the very first event at the new Texas Stadium. I know it's hard for you guys to understand with only one picture and all, but come on…..
That event was held for the opening of the new Dallas Cowboys stadium and before this tour was even announced. So they have not officially come back as a part of this tour, but I am sure the Stadium event is the reason why. Reba was here last November for a solo concert, another reason maybe.
Please, come to New England or New York !!!! …. there are so many country music lovers up here !

My cowboy and my cowgirl when will you come to California. Saw George along time ago at Arco in Sacramento and was in the last roll at the top he still looks good at 4 to 5 inches. I saw Reba at Arco when she had her leg broke and in a wheel chair she still gave a fanastic show. I love both of you and my kids and grandkids love you. When I am in the car they say grandma turn Reba on and yes that what is in my CD player so we turn you up high. George I love you, you are a real cowboy.
