Don’t miss Kellie Pickler’s appearance on this weekend’s episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Sunday on ABC at 8 p.m. Eastern. Kellie went to Beavercreek, Ohio and helped the James Terpenning family. James is a wheelchair sports champion and also mentors disabled Iraqi War veterans.

While in Beavercreek, Kellie performed and even got in on the demolition action, wielding a sledgehammer like a pro.

Kellie recently chatted with GACTV.com about the experience. Click on the mp3 below to hear her interview!

  8. In my heart I adopted Kellie Pickler when I read about her in Guideposts. I try to keep up with everything that she does. She is adorable, loves people, and has such a winning personality that everybody loves her. My prayer is for her happiness and that she will have a loyal husband and a family when she is ready. Kellie, although I have never met you, I love you and I know that Jesus loves you too.

  10. Kellie's humility, naivette, humor and genuine niceness and pleasant looks makes her a All American girl like her friend and former Idol mate.Carrie both are so appreciative to be on stage to entertain us from 3 to 300 years old. They have that appeal.Like others I'm a 75 year Old Great grandad and love these two wonderful young women.

  13. I am kellie picklers fan i am 66 years old grandfather of 8. My wife would love to be her grandmother, I would like to be her grandpa, but she's allready got a grandpa and my wife knows she could never replace her grand mother who she loved so dearly. But it is something we talk about together, she is so sweet to everyone and has so much love in her for her fans and country music. I am just glad god sent her to entertain ppeople like us.
