9:57 p.m. Brad and Carrie sign off. Wonderful hosting job, y’all!

9:56 p.m. Taylor invites her band up onstage to share in the glory. Now THAT is class.

9:54 p.m. Country music history is made. Taylor Swift is named Entertainer of the Year. At 19, that makes her the youngest-ever winner of this category. Congrats, Taylor!

9:53 p.m. Country’s royal couple, Tim McGraw & Faith Hill present the last award of the night, Entertainer of the Year.

9:46 p.m. Kenny Chesney takes the stage with Dave Matthews to perform “I’m Alive.”

9:40 p.m. “I wanna thank every single person in this room tonight for not running up on the stage.” Funny one, Taylor!

9:39 p.m. Lee Ann Womack and the handsome Kris Kristofferson present the Female Vocalist Award to a visibly shocked Taylor Swift.

9:35 p.m. Billy Currington’s singing one of my favorite country songs, “People Are Crazy.” Click here to find out what Billy drinks before he sings!

9:30 p.m. Reba looks and sounds amazing, singing “Consider Me Gone.” Where can I get the boots she’s wearing?

9:25 p.m. Lovely speech by Barbara Mandrell. She’s a class act!

9:22 p.m. Martina McBride & — surprise — George Strait! — paying tribute to Hall of Fame members Barbara Mandrell & Charlie McCoy

9:18 p.m. Jason Aldean’s singing “Big Green Tractor.” Whose tractor is sexier? Jason’s or Kenny Chesney’s? Leave a comment!

9:11 p.m. …the CMA Awards co-host with the most — Brad Paisley! Good goin’, Brad!

9:10 p.m. LeAnn Rimes takes the stage to present the Male Vocalist of the Year Award to…

9:06 p.m. A very cool moment…Taylor Swift’s singing “Fifteen” out in the audience and her young fans are singing/shouting with her. This is the power of country music, folks.

9:04 p.m. Hey y’all, we’ve got GAC peeps backstage in the CMA press room, giving us the lowdown on what’s happening. Check out our Twitter page for details!

8:58 p.m. Julianne Hough & Dale Earnhardt Jr. are presenting Vocal Duo of the Year…to Sugarland. They thanked B&D for what they’ve done for country music. We’ll surely miss you, Kix & Ronnie!

8:54 p.m. Jamey Johnson & Kid Rock — outlaw country at its finest. Waylon would be proud!

8:50 p.m. Brooks & Dunn make their final CMA performance with the help of the guys from ZZ Top.  What will country music do without B&D? Seems weird to think of an awards show without them.

8:44 p.m. Taylor Swift wins Album of the Year. “Thank you for saying that you like my diary,” says Taylor in her speech. Congrats, Taylor!

8:43 p.m. Awwww, little Drake Dixon, star of “Boots On,” is flirting with Kellie Pickler. Cute!

8:26 p.m. After a 4-year absence, Tim McGraw’s back on the CMAs, performing the title cut from his new CD, Southern Voice. Nice of Tim — and Taylor Swift in her opening song – to help us out by projecting the lyrics behind them!

8:21 p.m. Keith Urban. Dreamy song, dreamy performance. Pure talent.

8:20 p.m. This is the prettiest Carrie dress so far. Gotta love Little Jimmy Dickens!

8:15 p.m. Word from our GAC folks backstage is, Keith Urban’s and Tim McGraw’s performances are coming up next. But first, a commercial break.

8:11 p.m. “American Idol”‘s Chris Daughtry w/Vince Gill. Interesting pairing. It works…but then again, with Vince’s magical harmonies, how could it not?
