Most diehard Lady Antebellum fans know that Hillary Scott’s mother is singer Linda Davis. But Lady A’s Charles Kelley comes from a musical family too. His brother Josh had a debut pop hit in 2003 with “Amazing” and another Top 10 in 2005 with “Only You.”
Now Josh is coming over to the country. Record label UMG — home to Sugarland, Josh Turner, Lee Ann Womack and Jamey Johnson — announced that Josh signed a record deal with them in September and currently in the studio recording his forthcoming album, due in 2010.
“Universal is a perfect home for me and my music,” says Josh. “They have an awesome track record of allowing artists to be who they really are, and have already been so supportive of my new music. I’m stoked to be part of such a talented group of artists and staff.”
Prior to marrying his wife, Grey’s Anatomy actress Katherine Heigl, Josh made his home in Nashville.

Welcome to country music Josh Kelley and Katherine Heigl.Maybe we'll get to see Katherine at one of Josh's shows.
That good if he wants to make a change. Good luck with the
music Josh.
you country elitists sure had better not be fans of 'diversity', because if you are your double standards will choke you eventually.
Sounds like you could benefit from anger management.
He's also a dedicated golfer and philanthropist .
And what does that have to do with singing country music??
I've only heard a couple of his songs, but Josh Kelley has a really good voice. I think he'll transition well, kind of like Darius Rucker (not that their voices are the same, but that their voices are versatile). I'm looking forward to hearing some country from him.
I don't think it's a problem at all if country is growing in popularity.
I think that if he is doing it because he truely loves country music, then he is welcome to join in the "family" of country music
Yeah, let's get some more pop singers in country..that's what this genre needs! geez……..
