Iam a little older too!!!!!!!!! and iam a huge huge huge fan of Taylor Swift!!!!!!!!!!! ive also seen her in concert 2 times!!!!!!!!!! my husband even likes her. i admire her because she has her head on stright!!!!!! she writes her own music. she got here all on her own!!!!!!!! she didnt need some show to get her noticed. shes got a beauitful spirit!!!!!!!!! to me Taylor is avery beauitful young lady!!!!!!!!! It seems with the negative and hate fueled comments on this blog that many people have forgotten what country music it truly about; coutry music is about telling a story through a song, using lyrics to reveal an artist’s true feelings and journies in life, and hopefully relating to others listening and making a positive difference. Taylor Swift is a revoultionary artist because she does put herself into her lyrics, intertwining her lows and highs, her dreams and feats; her music comes from her heart and she reaches and speaks to a broad spectrum of people, and most relating and appreciating her. She is different because she is just Taylor and that’s all she knows how to be and that’s all she should be, therefore influencing others and showing them that who they are is good enough to be. She may not have a country accent or that twang that many have, but she exudes country music because she is what it should and is supposed to be; she writes stories through lyrics, opens up her life to all listeners, and captures her audience through song. Taylor Swift is a beautiful, wonderful and insightful young woman with passion for music and I wish her the best in everything she does.

Many of you are awfully malicious in these comments. It really is very unnecessary and pretty inapropriate given the setting. Everybody lighten up! We're not discussing politics here! Haha and for those people who "adore" Taylor, ask yourselves: Why? Dont blindly proclaim your love for an artist without facts to back it up.

I certainly understand the comments about Taylor's sub-par vocals, because honestly she can get a bit pitchy and her voice isnt like "angelic" or anything. Also, I agree that Taylor owes her success in part to the gullible "tweens" she appeals to. On the other hand, Taylor is young and her voice is not completely developed. She has potential and she has many years to improve her vocals. Additionally, Taylor is an amazing song writer who posesses the rather unique ability to relate to the public on all levels. I love Taylor not because she is the latest sensation or because she is plastered everywhere, but because I respect her as both a musician and a person. Of course I dont know Taylor personally, but from what I've seen, Taylor is just about as genuine as they get. Plus today, not many musicians can boast the feat of writing every single song that hit the charts.

i have a question.. why is it that if alot of so called " teeny boppers" like a person that all of a sudden thats the only reason she is famous and all of a sudden that person isnt that good.. Elvis became famous because of "teeny boppers" ok? and he is remembered as a great musician! i really like taylor swift and yah i am a "teeny bopper"!!!! Taylor swift is a great musician and a great role model and she is winning alot of awards because alot of people think that too!! h

she writes her own songs, she plays the guitar and piano, she sings beautifully, and she is an awsome role model yet you think she doesnt need those awards??? thats is really sad.. who exactly do you think deserves them then?
