I have been a fan for over 20 yrs and raised my now deceased 22 yr old daughter on Garth. She passed in 4/06 and my mom, who just passed this Oct. purchased the tickets for me to see Garth in 11/06 at the Sprint Ctr in KCMO as "helping to heal" idea. It was the best 3 hrs I'd had prior to 4/06. Oddly, about a week after my mom's burial I was diagnosed with lung cancer and several of my well meaning friends told me I should do all the things I've ever wanted to do now (well intended but I have not been given a death sentence) & I just laughed and told them, sure: 1st, win lottery, 2nd live on the beach, 3rd see Garth in Vegas. Nice thoughts. I'v seen Garth perform both young & as an "outta shape cowboy", either way he is Garth. Anyone who gets the chance to see Garth perform LIVE should take it. It is a memory you will always look back on and be glad you did it!

I am glad I logged on to this pop up this am. I was not aware that Garth had signed a 5 year contract with Wynn. I may still have a chance to see him perform one more time. And as the other comments go, I agree, I do not care if he shows up in sweats and a baseball hat with a guitar…..he's Garth Brooks. I was one of the fortunate ones that got to see Garth perform in Kansas City at the Sprint center on 11/09/07. The excitement, anticapitation, the electricity of the crowd is unlike any other concert I have ever been to. Welcome back!

I LOVE Garth Brooks!!!!! I'm definitely one of the crazy ones that actually got tickets to Vegas. I've loved him for 20 years and I'm 22 now. LOL

Nobodys happy unless their complaining! I love Garth. Why does it matter what he looks like (by the way he looks great) he still sounds just like he did years ago. I wish I could afford to fly out and see his concert!! I would do it in a heartbeat even if I had to go alone. People need to get a life!

I find it interesting that others in Vegas think they can do this with just anybody. Do they not understand the attraction of Garth? He's like Elvis…it doesn't matter how out-of-shape he may be or of he's wearing sweats and hasn't shaved in months. People are gonna show up for Garth…not just for anybody.
