The Top 10 Country Dance Club Hits of 2009

Week in and week out fans are peppered with charts of every kind for country music.   The most played songs on the radio. The top selling digital singles and albums.  The most downloaded ringtones.  The most popular videos and on and on.  But this chart really got my attention because it represents the songs that are getting the most action in dancehalls and honky tonks across the U.S.  In other words, the songs that are moving more butts out of seats and on to the hardwood!

Thanks to our friends at Marco Club Connection, here is the list of the Top 10 Country Dance Club Hits of 2009:

  2. Randy Houser – “Boots On”
  3. Jason Aldean – “She’s Country”
  4. Carrie Underwood – “Cowboy Casanova”
  5. Gloriana – “Wild At Heart”
  6. Brooks & Dunn – “Honky Tonk Stomp”
  7. Billy Currington – “People Are Crazy”
  8. Reba – “I Want a Cowboy”
  9. Joey + Rory – “Cheater Cheater”
  10. Jack Ingram – “Barefoot & Crazy”

This is the 6th year in row that Marco Club Connection has released a list of the most requested country dance club hits.  The list is compiled by surveying a panel of more than 230 club owners, DJs and dance instructors from across the country.
