Week in and week out fans are peppered with charts of every kind for country music. The most played songs on the radio. The top selling digital singles and albums. The most downloaded ringtones. The most popular videos and on and on. But this chart really got my attention because it represents the songs that are getting the most action in dancehalls and honky tonks across the U.S. In other words, the songs that are moving more butts out of seats and on to the hardwood!

The Josh Turner hasn't really peaked yet… but soon…same with Beer On the Table. That's blowing up too.
I certainly agree. This list is missing an excellent dance song – Why Don't We Just Dance by Josh Turner. 'Tis hard to believe it was not included. Certainly hope it tops the list for 2010.
I thought for sure Why don’t we just dance by Josh Turner would of made the list. The song has almost peaked so I’m sure it will be forgotten for next year’s chart. Sure hope it does make the 2010 list. Not too happy about this year’s list-kind of agree with B&D,BC,JI,& Joey & Rory.
WHAT Happen to our ENT. of Year???IF SHE(SWIFT}is EnT. OF YEAR she should
have been on this list some ware dont you think!!!! Sad choice
This is not about Song of the Year or Entertainer of the Year . It's Country Dance Hits…And why are you so sad, just a normal list…haiz…
Where is Josh Turner? He should have been on the list for Why Don't We Just Dance. Good dance song.
My guess is that song will be on the list for 2010!
I'm really surprised that "Before He Cheats" one of the best selling singles ever, was not on the dance list for 2006 or 2007. Unless, it got so overplayed at radio that people couldn't stand to hear it anymore. I'm a Carrie fan and I got that way. Just flipped to another station for it was played too much. But now? It was on the radio yesterday morning and it was nice to hear it again and know why I loved it in the first place..
I agree that Josh Turner's Why Don't We Just Dance should be on the list. It's a great dance song.
Why do Carrie fans have to be so rude? Can't you just be happy that Carrie made the list without making rude comments about Taylor?
It's not just Carrie fans. It's Martina fans. It's Miranda fans. It's Sara fans. Etc.
They all know that Carrie, Martina, Miranda and Sara CAN sing.
Taylor CAN'T sing. You must be completely tone deaf if you're a fan of Taylor.
That's the difference.
If you go to more sites, you can see Taylor fans are rude and mad as well…
WHAT??? Taylor Swift is not on there? GOOD!
Cowboy Casanova is an awesome dance song. Go Carrie!
Suck on that Taylor Swift. Way to go Carrie!
You got it right with Carrie being on there. Before He Cheats and Last Name should be add'd to that list.
Little suprised that Shania Twaine is not on any of them.
Trent Willmon"s Broken In, Little Set Of Horns Or Cold Beer an A Fishing Pole. One of those songs should be on there.
Agreed. Take Carrie off and put Josh Turner on the list…and than that'll be a pretty good list.
I agree Josh Tunner should have been on the list.
I'm wondering why Josh Turner's Why Don't We Just Dance didn't make the 2009 list. Best song to dance to IMO!
