She is true talent. I really can't believe there are people out there who don't like her. She keeps country music a live right now...well in terms of female performers. All the new female country singers are so much more pop then country. I can honestly say i have all the respect in the world for miranda. She stayed true to herself even though she was overlooked by carrie and taylor. I just have that much respect for her. What an amazing artist. I love Miranda Lambert. She is true talent. Besides Miranda, my other favorites are Blake Shelton, Eric Church, Gretchan Wilson, Lee Ann Womack, Josh Turner, Craig Morgan, Whitney Duncan, a few others, and a lot of country legends and outlaws from the 70's and 80's such as Willie, Waylon, Merle, Johnny Cash, Johnny Paycheck. I have been listening to country music all of my life and it just annoys me when someone that has only been listening to country for only two years and they try to tell me what country music is. I just love their music, whether I go see them at a big colliseum, a bar/nightclub, or at the county fair, I just enjoy them. Miranda is just one of my favorites because she is so down to earth and so real, and she isn't POP at all and she doesn't play by Nashville's rules and her fans love her for who she is. But I do think her slow and steady build to the top is a lot better than just becoming a superstar overnight. It's what I call hard work and persistence. As someone else said, if you explode big, your going to fizzle out that much sooner. I just know she's going to be here a long time. Because her first three albums all debuted at #1 and album sales increase everytime one comes out, and she just had her 2nd top 10 hit. It's just pitiful that true country music has lost its meaning. I wished Terri Clark would come back. She won 2008 ACM album of the year for Crazy Ex Girlfriend. I just know she's going to here for a long time. I agree poptart.
