Are these the lyrics to Carrie Underwood’s latest single? Not exactly — but they are the lyrics to Carrie Underworm’s new tune. Five-time Grammy Award winner Carrie will soon appear on America’s longest running children’s television show, Sesame Street, as a specially-created character known as “Carrie Underworm.” Carrie recorded the song, “The Worm Anthem,” specifically for the show. Rolandnote.com reports the episode originally aired on Dec. 28, with NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon introducing Ms. Underworm’s performance.
The episode in which “Carrie Underworm” performs is currently slated to re-air February 11, March 17, April 8, and April 26 on PBS. But today, DailyMotion.com posted a sneak peek. Click below to see it!

Just sitting here wondering why every article about Carrie – and probably Taylor ends up in a rift between fans. Why doesn't everybody just read the articles and keep this FAN-BASED rivalry out of it! It's so childish and has NOTHING whatsoever to do with any of the articles. Carrie has been my favorite from day on on American Idol. What a Beautiful person & extremely talented. I love her music & have her CD's & I'm 63 yrs old. Proud of you Carrie, keep up the good work.
Gosh I don't realize that Taylor's fans are so pathetic, maybe they need to seek help to handle their 'over hatred' and try to make peace with themselves.
It is just funny and ridiculous that they bashing Carrie. Carrie did not ask or beg to be on that programmed, but the Sesame Street Team who chooses her instead of TS as one of their character in SS. If TS' fans wants so badly her idol to be in the SS, just go ahead ask and make a petition to SS Team to create her SS character, it'll solve the problem and you can be happy, so no need for you bashing another artist.
Carrie and TS are both have their own success so no need for you become a pathetic person just to defense your idol. Just get yourself a 'happy and healthy' life!!!

Sesame Street should have used Taylor-at least she's real and more popular with the younger generation. At the end of the day she won a popularity contest where the best singer was not chosen. Carrie can sing. That's what it comes down to. Taylor's vocals are miles away from Carrie, and Carrie brought the youngin's over to country before Taylor, with Taylor backing her up. 'Idol' obviously got it RIGHT since they gave the world an artist that ended up making the #1 country album of the decade, as established by Billboard Official Charts! Taylor's not more real, and Carrie is widely more popular. Plus, just because Taylor LABELS her album as country doesn't mean it is. Every song is about the same broad, cliche topics: love, heartbreak, and boys. It's all lame and stale. Plus, she's pure pop. Once your nominated for Grammys in pop genres, you know you've completely transferred from your original genre to the other.

For all of those CDs to sell like that at once in these times is impeccable. And these are just the United States totals!
