Music and love have both been hailed as a universal language, but Kellie Pickler discovered there’s one more: tag.
That’s right, the kids game. And Kellie discovered that when her nine-year-old brother, Eric, tagged along at the video shoot for “Didn’t You Know How Much I Loved You,” which took place in the Dominican Republic.
“There were two little boys there,” she recalls. “One was French, and the other was Spanish, and they could not understand a word each other was saying. And the most beautiful thing I think I’ve ever seen: I saw them tryin’ to communicate, but there was that communication barrier there, and Eric finally just ran up to me, he’s like, ‘Sissy, I want to play with them, but they can’t understand me.’ And I went, ‘You’ll figure out a way to communicate with them.’”
Sure enough, he did. He tagged one of the other boys and said, “You’re it!” Eric took off running, and the other kids started chasing him. They ended up using a tree as the home base for their game, and they spent much of the day playing.
“They were talkin’ to each other in each other’s languages, and they didn’t know what they were saying,” she notes. “So finally, like, they’d just take each other’s hands and pull ‘em in whatever direction they wanted to go. You know, like, ‘Come see this,’ and play. It was so beautiful. That just goes to show you that there should be nothing that separates us as human beings. There should never be a barrier. There should never be a wall there.”
Oddly enough, separation in a personal relationship is a theme in “Didn’t You Know Much I Loved You,” which has done quite well for Kellie. The video is currently at No. 4 on GAC’s Top 20 Country Countdown.

Kellie,Carrie and Jullianne are my 3 Favorite New Country Ladies.I am so happy they all choose to be Country Artists and for anyone who thinks Carrie Can't sing there are Millions of people who believe your wrong.She wouldn't be asked to perform at things like the Superbowl if she wasn't a good singer or have 11 consecutive #1 Singles and sell 11 Million Albums.
I think this is really sweet. I'm up and down sometimes on whether I really like Kellie's music or not because she wasn't one of my favorites on her season of Idol, but I do have some favorites among her songs, like Best Days of Your Life and I Wonder.__But she does have a really great attitude for how much she's overcome, and it's cute to see her with her family.
Kellie is such a genuinely special and gifted young lady. She is playing a very significant role in raising Eric since their parents have turned out to be 'duds'. I believe her younger sister, who is about 20, moved to Nashville after Kellie and Eric and is also doing her share to help.
With her strong vocals, energetic shows and great personal values, Kellie will be in the country music business for a very long time. The prestige of a membership at the Grand Ole Opry is an almost 'sure thing' at some point in Kellie's future.
Kelli has so much wisdom for someone so young. I do not understand why GAC does not give her credit for her talent. Nan Kelly seems to dismiss her long standing on the top four of top 20. I did not even watch or listen to country music until Kelli appeared on Idol. Scott (whatever his name is) Taylor's record label was out of line with his remarks about Idol. Carrie and Kelli have much more talent than Taylor. Taylor could not have made it pass the first producers of the show let alone made the top 10. She is shrill and flat.

Kellie Pickler is a far better singer than kerrie underpants who constantly over sings everything and you can't even understand the words to her songs. Kerrie is a pop singer anyway. Talk about singing flat kerrie was aweful flat on the national anthem at the superbowl and she missed the high note. Kellie Pickler and Taylor Swift belong in country music kerrie does not.
