Phil Vassar’s tour through Europe continues on as he hops a plane from Glasgow, Scotland bound for Munich, Germany. Phil and the boys hit the ground running and set off to sample the local fare. In a confusing turn of events they somehow find themselves in the middle of a German restaurant where it appears everyone is speaking … Italian? Hmmm?
Anyway, it all works out in the end as Phil makes his way onstage at one of the local hotspots in Untermeitingen, a small municipality in the German state of Bavaria. For those of you playing “Where in the World is Phil Vassar?” at home, follow this link to see for yourself at Google Maps.

Hi to Phil and his cohorts in case they read this! This is Daniel T. Coates, who had the pleasure for opening for Phil. Also got to have a good conversation with him and his circus dudes at breakfast the morning of the show. Its a real credit to Phil, who has rocked stadiums with a big band, that he can come in a club like Four Corners and adapt to a smaller (although highly rambunctious and savvy) crowd. That shows that he is a top-notch musician, artist, pianoman, singer, creator, inovator and not just somebody that lives off his hits. That "where have all the pianos gone" song is great. Make sure Billy Joel doesn't steal that baby! This displaced Pennsylvanian tips his hat to Virginian Phil! Thanks Phil Vassar for coming and thanks Bill Wallace for booking these real American legends! Daniel T. Coates
Were is the Four Corners Music Hall in Untermeitingen. I have been away for a while and never heard of it.
thank´s for the great concert !!!

@Phil and Band
Awesome! It was a great show at the Four Corners in Untermeitingen. I hope Phil come back as soon as possible – to Bravaria
Let's hear it for Bra-varia, Phil Vassar and Four Corners — a great combo.
Video shows this was a great show. Everybody loves Phil Vassar. Great to have him performing at Four Corners. Way to go, Bill.
Btw: if you'll ever come to Germany, make sure to visit the Four Corners Music Hall (or if you're a singer/band – make sure to get a gig). You'll be deeply impressed. It's so unique. Just to emphasize – my favorite place to be.
Se we got to hear "I'm alright", "Bye Bye", "My next 30 years", "Little red rodeo", "Last days of my life", "Carlene", "Bobbi with an I", “Where Have All The Pianos Gone?” and many more. Somewhen while the concert, someone requested for "John Wayne". Phil couldn't find the sheet and so he threw away all the sheets and said something like "I can't read anyway". He was sooooo funny. I don't know what time he left the stage; the crowd was yelling and clapping and so he came back for an encore "Love is a beautiful thing". Then he shaked hands and signed from top of the stage.
After the concert he furthermore signed pictures and cds for everybody and was ready for pictures with all his fans till everybody dream came true.
It was such a great concert. We truly had a blast, and I'm sure he had so too.
Thanks to Phil and Jeff and Jason and Marianne and Bill and whoever was involved for making it happen.
For the first I have to apologize for my English. I’m german ?
OMG! What can I say?! What a night! What a concert!
I was totally excited when the great news arrived – Phil Vassar will perform at -my favorite place to enjoy country music live- the legendary "Four Corners Music Hall" in Untermeitingen/Germany.
The hall was sold out just within a few days. On febr. 1st the "Four Corners" was full packed with an highly expectant crowd, people from the entire country and austria too.
Britta T from Switzerland and Daniel T Coates warmed up for about 1 1/2 hours. Then Phil came up on stage with Jeff Smith on guitar and Jason Fitz fiddle and mandoline. He started with a nice little story about his arrival and "Black & Whites". From the beginning the crowd went wild, singing along with him every single song. He didn't have a setlist. He played requested songs, songs that he had written for other singers and his very own hits too.
It was a very special show and great atmosphere – thanks to Phil Vassar and his band and thanks to the Four Corners Music Hall for making it possible!
What a great show it was in Four Corners Music Hall. Everbody enjoyed Phil Vassars Concert. Long time ago, that I´ve been on a live show like this.
Thanks Phil for this and special thanks to Bill and Marianne for making this possible!!!!!!!!! Hope see Phil soon, can´t wait ´til he´s coming back to Untermeitingen!
A really great and very private show: Mainly following the wishes of the audience, clearly having fun together: Phil, the band and everybody listening. It was a bit like Phil playing for his friends in the living room. I saw lots of top10 country acts but never in such a private athmosphere. Thanks for that and come back: I think you got a lot of friends here in Bavaria now and remember….
there is plenty of beer left.
Klaus
