Blake Shelton made a nice showing in the first week of his new album’s release, and he’ll have something to say about it this weekend when he joins host Nan Kelley on the latest edition of GAC’s Top 20 Country Countdown.
Buoyed by his duet with Trace Adkins on the title track, Blake’s six-pack Hillbilly Bone sold 71,000 copies, landing him at No. 3 on the all-genre Billboard 200, trailing only Lady Antebellum and Sade. Blake’s been reminding fans daily via Twitter that he’s got an album for sale, and even Thursday he was still encouraging people to go down to Wal-mart for a copy.
“Go pick up a 12 pack of underwear & my album,” he wrote. “Classy.”
On the heels of Hillbilly Bone’s chart performance, Blake has a significant live date lined up for the coming week. He headlines the historic Ryman Auditorium Thursday in Nashville, marking his first time have top billing in the former home of the Grand Ole Opry.
Top 20 Country Countdown counts down the week’s top country videos from No. 20 to No. 1 as voted by viewers on each week on GACTV.com. A new countdown premieres every Friday at 8 p.m. ET on GAC and airs again Saturdays at 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. ET; Sundays at 1 p.m. ET; and Mondays at 10 a.m. ET. Viewers can vote for their favorite videos, as well as purchase Top 20 artists’ albums and ringtones at GACTV.com.

I wish they would do a sound stage of carrie underwood she is fantastic live
cu is really bad live i saw her once and more than half the people walked out!!
seriously diamond u know the truth…and u know how amazing carrie's voice is nobody ever walked out…get over it diamond everbody knows taylor can't sing well…
diamond; we all know that's not true. you were probably dillusional and at a taylor swift concert.
carrie's vocals are impeccable on soundtrack and live. taylor's are good on soundtrack because they're mixed; live, you get the true vocals. and it ain't pretty.
Plus; if you hated Carrie that much, you would never go to a concert of her's, so you can stop lying and get a life now. K, thanks.
I love Blake Shelton and I just found out he's got a#1 with Hilly bone. I wish GAC or CMT would spotlight him in his own show., like Soundstage, Crossroads , or Invitation Only. His voice and sense of humor are the greatest.
