8 p.m. ET :  Show blasts off with Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley and John Fogerty crankin’ out the CCR classic “Travelin’ Band”… and out comes Charlie Daniels with fiddle in hand.   Doesn’t get any better!  Great start to the show!

8:08: p.m. Great show intro by Reba McEntire, who looks stunning.

8:09 p.m. One word: CHER!

8:11: p.m. Who could’ve ever imagined Cher would introduce Blake Shelton & Trace Adkins? Love to hear those two sing together.

8:14 p.m. That’s how Billy Currington rolls — effortless, natural singing. Love the “in the round” stage in the audience thing…

8:18 p.m. Kenny Chesney has 2 tickets to the gun show.

8:24 p.m. I love that Geico commercial with Charlie Daniels in it!

8:39 p.m. Toby Keith + Dave Koz – what a moving performance.

8:44 p.m. Nice footage of Zac Brown Band entertaining the troops.

8:53 p.m. Lady A wins Single of the Year for “Need You Now” Congrats, y’all!

8:59 p.m. LL Cool J – is beyond cool. He just introduced Taylor Swift.

9 p.m. Taylor Swift is flying above the audience…now she’s onstage. Very inspirational performance. Love that choir!

9:05 p.m. Julianne Hough introduces the Top New Artist nominees…who’s gonna win?

9:09 p.m. Congrats to Luke Bryan, the 2010 ACM Top New Artist — and to his fans, for casting the most votes!

9:12 p.m. Lady A is positively glowing during their performance of ”American Honey.”

9:20 p.m. Rascal Flatts is tearin’ it up with “Unstoppable!”

9:25 p.m. Miranda Lambert wins Album of the Year…and producer Mike Wrucke is RUDELY cut off. Wow.

9:28 p.m. Jason Aldean is rocking the house with “Crazy Town.”

9:37 p.m. Miranda Lambert’s singing “The House That Built Me.” What a great song.

9:43 p.m. Congrats, Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry, for receiving the ACM Humanitarian Award!

9:46 p.m. Jack Ingram + Dierks Bentley = a good time.

9:55 p.m. I don’t know how Carrie Underwood sings “Temporary Home” without crying!

9:57 p.m. Carrie wins the ACM Triple Crown Award. Congrats Carrie!

9:58 p.m. LeAnn Rimes’ beau, Eddie Cibrian, announces nominees for Top Vocal Group…

10 p.m. Congrats to the winners, Lady Antebellum!

10:01 p.m. Tim McGraw — singing his new song, “Still” — looks and sounds GREAT.

10:09 p.m. Brad Paisley performs “Water”…dang, he sure is a smooth guitar player!

10:17 p.m. Brad Paisley wins Top Male Vocalist…hurry up and towel off, Brad — you’ve got a speech to make!

10:18 p.m. BP gives the funniest speech of the night, so far…

10:23 p.m. This is going to make me cry too. Brooks & Dunn’s last ACM performance. The fans voted for them to sing “My Maria.”

10:27 p.m. Great to see all the stars singing along to “My Maria”

10:29 p.m. Randy Travis (love him!) and Carrie Underwood present the Vocal Duo of the Year award to…Brooks & Dunn!

10:36 p.m. Reba’s sprinkled with stardust, singing “I Keep On Lovin’ You.” She’s a treasure. Love the montage of country couples in the background!

10:40 p.m. And the ACM’s Top Female Vocalist is…Miranda Lambert. Her speech was so heartfelt. Congrats, Miranda!

10:46 p.m. Keith Urban takes the stage with a video camera…did he just give it to a fan? There’s some shaky cam going on…

10:54 p.m. Carrie Underwood wins Entertainer of the Year! Congrats Carrie!

10:55 p.m. Darius Rucker takes the stage, singing “Forever Road.”
