Carrie Underwood is now also known as Carrie Fisher. Carrie and Ottawa Senators player Mike Fisher were married today at a luxury resort in Greensboro, Ga.
According to People magazine, Carrie, 27, and Mike, 30, said their vows before 250 friends and family in a ceremony featuring classical music and the couple’s favorite Bible readings.
“We could not feel more blessed to have found each other and to have shared this day with our friends and family that mean so much to us!” the newlyweds told the magazine in a statement, signing their names “Mike & Carrie Fisher.”
The bride wore a Chantilly lace dress created for her by Monique Lhuillier, who also designed the bridesmaids’ dresses. USA Today reported the guest list included Faith Hill and Tim McGraw.
Back in March, Carrie told People that with their busy schedules, she and Mike would “be little nomads for a while” and that they would keep homes in Nashville and Peterborough, Ontario.
