After her first two albums sold more than 10 million copies combined, Taylor Swift’s next release is a subject of intense interest, and she’ll give fans a chance to find out about it — direct from the source — in a live webcast on Tuesday.

Taylor plans to take questions at 5 p.m. ET during a chat that can be accessed through her website, her MySpace page and her Facebook page. It can also be witnessed at Ustream.tv/taylorswift.

“I’ve spent the last two years out on the Fearless Tour and working on my new record,” she says. “I’ve gotten so many questions from fans — on Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, my website, everywhere really — and it’s so incredible to see how excited everybody is about what’s next. I want them to be the first to know about my new music, and I can’t wait to talk to everybody as directly as I can!”

The Country Music Association’s reigning Entertainer of the Year, Taylor sold more than 4 million copies of her self-titled debut album and more than 6 million of her sophomore project, Fearless. She’s talked repeatedly about releasing her third album before the end of 2010. Last week, she caused a stir by shooting a video in Maine that had her leaving a church as a fictitious bride. It’s presumed that the production was for a song from the forthcoming album, though her camp has remained decidedly mum.
