A couple of weeks ago we came to you with an opportunity to help Katie Armiger decide what the title of her new album should be. Over 1,300 of you responded with your votes, and Confessions of a Nice Girl is the clear winner with more than fifty percent of the votes.
“I think it’s incredible that so many fans voted to help pick the album title,” said Katie. “Thank you to those fans and GAC for being so supportive and amazing. I couldn’t have dreamed up a better way to celebrate this release then with everyone who has been involved so far!”
The newly named album is scheduled to be released on October 5, 2010 and will feature 13 brand new tracks, nine of them penned by Katie. Fans already familiar with Katie will recognize “Kiss Me Now” and her current hit single “Leaving Home” on the track listing. What an excellent choice for the title of the album,when it comes to the fans of an artist such as Katie who hasn't had much exposure,it truly shows how important a fanbase is to a country artist with little or no exposure. Katie's fans should be proud. I'm very much so looking foward to Katie's up and coming release this fall.
I don't remember which title I voted for, but congrats to Katie on her upcoming release. She is so talented!
