The new music video from Montgomery Gentry for their latest single, “Where I Come From,” was directed by “Potsy” Ponciroli and produced by Chris Connor for Team Genius Productions. It’s one of the most intense, impactful videos ever done by the duo.
Eddie and Troy worked with Potsy and came up with the concept of having the video tell the story from a deployed soldier’s viewpoint. The video opens with a battlefield scene – could be Iraq, could be Afghanistan – where you see a wounded soldier, laying on the ground. While his fellow soldiers try to protect and save him, he’s having flashbacks and memories of his beloved hometown.
The video, shot in the California desert and a rock quarry in Nashville, does a nice job of honoring our heroes and troops as well as the towns “where they come from.”
Montgomery Gentry’s new album, Rebels On The Run, is set to hit stores on October 18th!
