On September 11, Alan Jackson performed his emotional hit song “Where Were You (When The World Stopped Turning)” immediately before President Obama’s public address on the tenth anniversary of 9/11. The performance was part of A Concert for Hope which was held at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC and marked the end of a three day commemoration.
