Jason Aldean raised $315,000 during his sixth annual ‘Concert for the Cure’ at his September 30 tour stop in Roanoke, Virginia. Jason donated the profits from the sold-out show to Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the funds will go towards the local Roanoke community.
“This is one of my favorite things we do all year and taking it on the road to other cities has been huge in helping us bring in more money for Komen,” Jason said. ”All of the money we raised will go to the local Roanoke effort, allowing them to give free mammograms to those who can’t afford it. We’ll pick a different spot for next year and try to beat it. October is a big month for raising money and awareness, and I have to thank my fans for doing their part! Seeing an arena filled with pink is just a really cool thing!”
