Neal McCoy released his new single, “A-Ok,” for download at all digital retailers today. The first single from his upcoming album, XII, produced by Blake Shelton,  Miranda Lambert and Brent Rowan, “A-Ok” is the song Neal had been searching for.

“Everybody wants to find that song that hits the sweet spot, which is pretty much them, but everybody else, too,” he said. “I think I finally found that song!”

Written by Barry Dean, Luke Laid and Brett Eldredge, the song is a happy-go-lucky track about seeing the glass as half full and turning a frown upside down. “I think any song that says ‘It’s gonna be okay, it’s gonna be alright…’ and feels like this one does, has got to be a winner,” Neal said. “People really want to hear, and almost need to hear, that right now. Times being the way they are, and something that makes people feel good? Well, anyone who knows me knows I’m all about that.”

Neal will release XII in early 2012.
