Earlier this year, Reba was honored with the Career Achievement award from the Academy of Country Music for all of her accomplishments in music, movies, TV and on Broadway. But if the award signifies that Reba’s career is coming to an end or she is supposed to stop, Reba says she’d rather just give it back.
“I’m just still having the best time of my life,” she said. “I think I’m having more fun now than I ever have had in the past. Mainly because the older you get, the more settled you are in your skin and you like what you’re doing and you only do what you want to do. I like that part about it.”
Luckily, the award doesn’t signal the end of Reba’s career. She is preparing to return with a new sitcom. “We’re fixing to do another television show next year called Malibu Country. We’ll start the pilot in April 2012 and then hopefully if everything goes right, we’ll do the series starting in August.”
In the meantime, when it comes to preparing holiday meals, Reba has a no-fail system in place that even the most inexperienced cook can master. Check out her tips in Reba’s Guide To Holiday Meals!
