Jamie O’Neal has opened her own record label. Jamie and a team of some of Nashville’s top music industry professionals have joined together to form Momentum Label Group. Jamie will serve as CEO and oversee every aspect of the indie label. She will also work as the producer for some of the label’s roster.

“I’m so excited about this amazing opportunity,” Jamie said. “I’ve had my own studio for many years, and being a part of the creative process has always been one of my favorite things about the music business. By having our own label, we can now help introduce the world to some exceptionally talented new artists.”

Jamie’s father and manager, Jimmy Murphy, will serve as Momentum’s general manager and partner. Music industry veteran John Ettinger will oversee radio strategies, Jessica Northey will be in charge of social media and web strategies and John Christian will be over west coast promotions.

Momentum’s flagship artist is Rachele Lynae. She will release her debut single, “Party ‘Til the Cows Come Home,” in March. Jamie’s hits include “There Is No Arizona,” “When I Think About Angels,” and “Somebody’s Hero.”
