Brad Paisley wrapped up the first leg of his Virtual Reality World Tour this past weekend with stops in Baltimore, Knoxville and Lexington. The tour began mid-January and played to over 218,000 fans with 19 sell-outs. The Band Perry and Scotty McCreery joined Brad as special guests on the tour.

On Friday evening’s stop in Knoxville, fans – and Brad – were in for a special surprise. Carrie Underwood put a secret plan into motion, arriving in Knoxville under the radar with very few people, not even Brad, knowing she was at the venue. The only hint she gave came via Twitter. “In a sneaky mood tonight…Stay tuned…” she tweeted.

When it was time for their duet, “Remind Me,” which usually has a ‘virtual Carrie’ joining Brad, Carrie herself walked out on stage, taking Brad by complete surprise. “Had so much fun tonight surprising @BradPaisley—Thanks Knoxville!!” Carrie tweeted after the show. Brad retweeted her and added “Coolest thing that’s happened this tour!”

The second leg of the Virtual Reality World Tour will kick off on May 18 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in St. Louis, MO and continue on for a total of 43 dates.   Visit Brad’s official website for a complete listing of dates »
