Thomas Rhett’s debut single, “Something to Do With My Hands,” is about to break into the Top 40 and his debut album is expected later this year. Even with his career heating up, he says there isn’t anyone he’d like to ask, ‘How do you like me now?’ He’s been fortunate enough to avoid most of the naysayers.

“It was actually the opposite,” he said. “My senior superlative was Most Likely to Be Famous. I was the go-to guy if somebody needed somebody to play guitar or sing. I was always the one playing in talent shows and any chance I got to play at some party, I would. I was always ‘that guy’ that sang country music.”

Thomas will be joining Toby Keith on Toby’s Live In Overdrive Tour, which kicks off June 14 in Salt Lake City, Utah. His debut video, “Something To Do With My Hands,” is out now.
