Carrie Underwood recently took time out from her busy schedule promoting her new album, Blown Away, to visit and perform with the fifth graders of Staten Island’s PS22 Chorus. Carrie performed two songs with the talented group, “Good Girl” and “So Small.”
During “So Small,” Carrie let the group handle the first verse and came in on the chorus. The second verse went to students Kahlil and Kiarah — and Carrie was so taken with their beautiful performance, she nearly forgot to come in on her part! Afterward, an emotional young girl told Carrie why the song meant so much to her, earning her a big hug from Carrie. Carrie also answered a few of their questions –including what’s in her ‘awesomesauce!’
