Kellie Pickler was soaring high Wednesday when she took a flight over Middle Tennessee with the United States Navy Blue Angels. #7 Pilot LT Mark Tedrow took Kellie from the ground to 2,000 feet in just four seconds, departing from the Smyrna Airport just outside of Nashville.

Back at the airport and with two feet on solid ground, LT Tedrow presented Kellie with a personalized lithograph to commemorate her flight with the Blue Angels. The Blue Angels will be performing at the airport this weekend for the Great Tennessee Air Show. “THANK YOU @BlueAngels for the fastest most badass ride of my life!!!! Let’s fly again soon!!! ;)Kellie tweeted after her flight.

Kellie has been full of new experiences lately. Besides flying with the Blue Angels, she recently spent time at the Elephant Sanctuary in East Tennessee, working with the elephants for a day as part of the second season of GAC’s Day Jobs. If you missed Kellie’s episode, watch it online and see photos, highlights and more from throughout the season. Watch Day Jobs Now! >>
