Willie Nelson will host his first annual Willie Nelson Celebrity Golf Tournament on Saturday, June 30 in Spicewood, Texas. The tournament will benefit the Pedernales Fire Department, the Helping Hands Crisis Ministry, the Children’s Music Foundation and the RunTex Foundation and will include food and fun throughout the day.

The golf tournament will kick off with a round of speed gof teeing at 10:00 a.m. followed by two different shotgun Willie 9-hole scramble rounds at 12:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Each team of scramblers will be made up of 6 golfers rather than the usual four to highlight the course’s quirkiness. The event includes a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. and a dinner at 5:30 a.m. sponsored by Texas Roadhouse.

Sonny Throckmorton will be on hand to provide entertainment along with more special guests. A silent auction will take place throughout the day and include Willie Nelson memorabilia as well as other priceless items and experiences. The event will wrap up with exclusive Night Life Golf where benefactors will shoot glow in the dark balls for chances to win other surprise gifts.

Those attending the event are encouraged to bring can goods and non-perishable food items for the Helping Hands Crisis Ministry’s food bank. For registration go to http://www.willienelsongolftournament.com or call 512.472.3254
