Trisha Yearwood will be back for a second season of her cooking show, Trisha’s Southern Kitchen. The Food Network has ordered up a 13-episode cycle, which will begin production this summer with new episodes airing in the fall. Trisha shares her food traditions, updates classic dishes and displays her southern hospitality on each themed episode.

“Our viewers loved seeing a different side of Trisha,” Bob Tuschman, General Manager and Senior Vice President, Food Network, said. “Her impressive cooking skills and family recipes, coupled with her natural southern charm, really resonated with our audience. We’re thrilled Trisha will be returning for a second season with more delicious dishes and family traditions.”

“I had so much fun doing the first season of the show,” Trisha said. “It was such a great experience, and the positive response from viewers was overwhelming and truly gratifying. I’ve always believed that food brings people together. I can’t wait to share more family memories and recipes with Food Network fans.”

It’s no surprise that Trisha’s kitchen is her favorite room at home. Check out our At Home with GAC section for details including Trisha’s Italian tableware, knickknacks from her travels, and some of her favorite meals!
