It’s the look that swept the nation in the early 80s to mid-’90s – the mullet. The hairstyle is all business in the front, party in the back, but we’re turning the party front and center as you, the fans, chose the Top 10 mullets in all of country music. No. 10 – Kenny Chesney

These days, Kenny sports a shaved head under that cowboy hat, but when his career was kicking off in the early ’90s, Kenny had a head full of hair, especially in the back. Watch his  1993 “Fall In Love” video for evidence of the offending hairstyle HERE.

There’s something women like about a pickup man, at least according to Joe’s 1994 hit single “Pickup Man.” There was also something about the textbook mullet Joe sported through much of the ’90s that belonged ‘in another world.’

Time marches on and thankfully brings new hairstyles into fashion! Tracy’s mullet is front and center – under a big black cowboy hat – on the cover of his 1993 Alibis album.

Tim sang about an “Indian Outlaw” but his hair was an outlaw all to itself, long and flowing from under his signature cowboy hat. We’re betting Faith Hill doesn’t miss it.

T-R-O-U-B-L-E indeed. Travis’ mullet – seen in its prime on his The Restless Kind album cover – may be in the running for the title of longest mullet in country music.

The only people happier than us that Alan’s mullet is long gone are his three daughters. “My children think I’ve changed for the better,” Alan told ABC News Radio. “They see those old pictures of me and the long hair and that mullet-looking thing and they make fun of me now.”

Toby wanted to talk about himself in “Let’s Talk About Me,” but how about we talk about that mullet instead? When he asks “How do you like me now?” we have to say much better, sans mullet.

No. 2 – Billy Ray Cyrus

Oh our achy, breaky hearts! Billy Ray’s mullet is definitely one of the most well-known in country music. Billy Ray was so fond of it he even recorded a song called “I Want My Mullet Back.” That’s one look best left in the past.

No. 1 – Blake Shelton

According to your votes, Blake’s mullet was the best mullet of all! Blake said goodbye to his “party in the back” hairstyle a while ago, but he brought the look back in wig form for a prank on Brad Paisley at the end of their 2011 summer tour. We’re guessing we can count on Miranda Lambert to keep the look from making a more permanent appearance any time soon.
