Little Big Town is coming to a TV near you – or at least one of their songs is. The band recently recorded the promo campaign and theme song for ABC’s new show, Good Afternoon America, which debuted July 9. The song, “Good Afternoon,” was co-written by Little Big Town, Brett Warren and Brad Warren.

“Sometimes you get unexpected opportunities as an artist,” Karen Fairchild said. “We loved getting the chance to write and record a song for such a cool show.”

Josh Elliott and Lara Spencer will anchor the afternoon talk show, which airs at 2 p.m. Eastern/1 p.m. Central on ABC. The hour-long program is filmed in Good Morning America’s studio in Times Square. Sam Champion, Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos will make appearances during the show as well.

Little Big Town will perform “Good Afternoon” as well as their current hit single, “Pontoon,” on Good Afternoon America on August 2. Watch Little Big Town’s “Pontoon” video >>
