Bucky Covington is used to spending time in the recording studio but recently, he got to take a seat in the producer’s chair. He went into the studio with Shooter Jennings to record the duet “Drinking Side Of Country” for Bucky’s new album, Good Guys, out September 11. The up-tempo party song was written by Bucky, his twin brother Rocky Covington and friend Donald Medlock.

“Getting to produce your own music rocks, but being able to say you produced Shooter Jennings just takes it to a whole other level,” Bucky said. “I am very proud of this song and can’t wait to share it with my fans!”

Bucky first recorded the song in 2010 but thought it needed something extra, prompting him to bring in Shooter. The pair just filmed a rowdy video for the song in the town of Greensburg, KY. The video, to be released soon, includes police chases, parties, and appearances by Kellie Pickler, TNA Wrestler Mickie James and Cowboy Kenny Bartram.
