Jason Aldean’s fans have been champing at the bit for new music from the country star. On the heels of five consecutive No. 1 singles from his multi-platinum My Kinda Party album, Jason has officially released “Take A Little Ride” to radio. The track is the lead single from his upcoming album and will be available on iTunes on August 7. Physical singles of the track will also be released at Walmart.

“Everyone has been asking if the new album is going to be different from the My Kinda Party album,” Jason said. ”I tried to find the best songs that I could and also ones that fit what I do in my live show.  There’s a little bit of everything, including some more traditional country stuff and some songs that might raise a few eyebrows.  I thought this would be a great lead single to come with after ‘Fly Over States.’ It’s about grabbing your girl and getting lost in the country. Sounds like a pretty good Friday night to me!”

“Take A Little Ride was written by Dylan Altman, Rodney Clawson and Jim McCormick. Fans can preview the track HERE.

Jason’s My Kinda Party Tour continues to draw huge crowds across the country. Over the weekend, fans snatched up more than 44,000 tickets in just four minutes for shows in Indianapolis and St. Louis in September. Jason has sold out every tour date date so far this year and set attendance records at most venues, including his first stadium sellout in Columbus, Ohio.
