No one doubted Blake Shelton’s return to Chelsea Lately to chat with the always outrageous Chelsea Handler would be hilarious. The pair lived up to expectations Tuesday night, talking about everything from his upcoming Christmas album to fellow The Voice coach Christina Aguilera’s underwear. But first, Blake had to address rumors brought to him by his pal Trace Adkins.

“[He] said that you were dogging the hell out of me and you don’t love me anymore,” Blake accused Chelsea. “Any truth to that?”

“No,” Chelsea replied, assuring Blake he was still her favorite “Hillbilly Bone” singer. “I like you because you’re a hot mess and you talk and you tweet about how drunk you are all the time, and you tweet about how drunk you think I am.”

When it was time to discuss Blake’s Christmas album, Cheers, It’s Christmas, due out October 2, Chelsea questioned whether or not Blake was aware of what the current season is. “It’s summer, do you know when Christmas is?” She asked. “Hey, listen, you don’t ever have me on the show,” Blake replied. “I’m gonna take what I can get, damn it!”

The conversation turned to Blake and Miranda Lambert’s marriage and the hot topic of when fans can expect children. Blake assured Chelsea that their busy careers have put a dent in the amount of time they spend together, for the time being. The pair also covered the topic of Christina Aguilera’s underwear and the upcoming Blake Shelton Cruise.
