Dierks Bentley will be among the songwriters taking the stage when the CMA Songwriters Series takes over New York City’s Joe’s Pub on Thursday, September 15. The series allows fans to hear some of their favorite songs performed by the songwriter as well as hear the stories that inspired them.

“The CMA Songwriter series is a really cool gig,” Dierks said. “Joe’s Pub is so intimate and the audience is a huge part of those shows because they’re so close. It’s like everybody in the room is in on a secret or something. You’ve got four guys with guitars, telling stories and drinking whiskey…anything can happen!”

Jim Beavers (“Felt Good On My Lips,” “Why Don’t We Just Dance,” “5-1-5-0,” “Trying to Stop Your Leaving”) and Jaren Johnston (“You Gonna Fly,” “Anywhere,” “The Woods”) will join Dierks onstage along with the evening’s host, Bob DiPiero (“Southern Voice,” “Blue Clear Sky,” “You Can’t Take the Honky Tonk Out of the Girl”).

For ticketing information, visit or call (212) 967-7555 between the hours of noon and 8:00 PM/ET. For more information on the CMA Songwriters Series, visit www.CMAworld/events/songwritersseries.
