Dustin Lynch can check ‘have a No. 1 album’ off his career bucket list. His self-titled debut album entered the Billboard Country Albums Chart at No. 1 this week. He’s also the only new male act to have his first album debut at No. 1 on the chart in 2012.

Dustin got the good news just after learning his first single, “Cowboys and Angels,” had been certified Gold after selling more than 500,000 copies. The track has also found its way into the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart.

“Today is honestly one of the best days of my life,” he said. “I moved up here to Nashville right out of high school without knowing a soul.  I dreamed of and have been working for this moment my whole life – and to be sitting here with a No. 1 album just seems unreal.  I can’t say ‘thank you’ enough to country radio, my label and management and all of my fans that come out and support me every night. You’ve made my dreams come true.”

Produced by Brett Beavers and Luke Wooten, the album includes 13 tracks, 10 of which were written or co-written by Dustin. For more information on Dustin including tour dates, visit:
