Congratulations to Edens Edge’s Hannah Blaylock and her new husband Justin Wakefield! The couple tied the knot on September 30 at Pratt Place Barn and Inn in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the band’s home state.

“We pride ourselves on where we come from, and we have a huge group of family and friends there that have been the foundation of our faith and our beliefs and our songs and our music,” Hannah told Taste of Country. “They have supported us from day one. I wanted to get married back at home with all of those people… the people who have loved us and loved me since I was born up until now. I have a really big family, so that was fun!”

The couple exchanged handwritten vows under a White Oak tree decorated with fisherman’s rope and glass flats from Alaska where Hannah spent part of her childhood. Steve Smith, a longtime friend who helped the members of Edens Edge connect and wrote a track on their album, officiated the ceremony.

Hannah walked down the aisle to “Falling Over You,” a song written by her brother Wes about his wife. Listen to the song here. Later in the ceremony, Hannah led guests in a traditional hymn, “Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus,” from her grandmother’s church.

Working with wedding planner Shannon Longston, the evening combined southern countryside charm and elegance with décor of burlap and baby’s breath by florist Becky Clement. The reception was held at a nearby rustic barn decorated with photos of the bride and groom throughout their relationship as well as wedding photos of their parents and grandparents.

Personal details such as a display of Hannah’s old barrel racing saddle, serving Arkansas-made wine and having her father’s band, Summerfield Reunion, perform made the evening even more special. The dance floor was lined with hay bales covered with heirloom quilts and lit by vintage chandeliers.

Friends contributed personalized centerpieces for the dinner tables. There was also homemade apple pie, cobbler and chocolate chip cookies courtesy of bandmate Dean Berner’s mom.

The couple will enjoy a honeymoon before Hannah reunites with her band members for more dates on the Rascal Flatts Changed Tour. You can check out Hannah and Justin’s wedding photo as well as wedding photos from many of your favorite country stars in our Country Weddings Photo Gallery.
