It’s time to get in the holiday spirit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum! The Museum will celebrate the Christmas season with a schedule of programs for the whole family. They will also offer a limited-edition holiday poster from Hatch Show Print as well as gift shopping from the Museum store.
The Museum will officially kick off its holiday celebration with the lighting of the Museum’s Christmas tree. Craig Morgan will be on hand to lead the ceremony as well as perform. The Museum will also host Christmas—themed performances from Brazilbilly (Dec. 1), Rosie Flores (Dec. 15) and David Ball (Dec. 22).
Several family activities are also on the schedule. Santa Claus himself will be at the Museum for photos every Saturday from November 24 – December 15. Hatch Show Print staff will offer classes on how to make Letterpress Art, allowing children ages five to 18 to design their own Christmas cards using wood blocks from the Hatch archive. There is also a Christmas cookie decorating class being offered by the Two Twenty-Two Grill & Catering staff.
As a gift to visitors who present a Tennessee driver’s license or Tennessee college ID, they will receive $5 off of the purchase of an adult general admission ticket November 23 – December 31. All programs are included with museum admission and free to museum members unless otherwise noted. A complete schedule of events can be found at http://countrymusichalloffame.org/deckthehall.
