Miranda Lambert will turn her adopted hometown of Tishomingo, Okla., pink on Black Friday. She will open her lifestyle and general merchandise store, dubbed the Pink Pistol, on November 23. The store’s slogan is ‘For The Wild at Heart.’

“We’re having the Grand Opening the day after Thanksgiving, on Black Friday, only we’re calling it Pink Friday,” Miranda said. “We’re going to make it a tradition to turn the block pink every year at that time. Pink Friday will be country fun with some glitz. Tishomingo is the epitome of a great, small American town, and I am excited to dress it in my favorite color ‘pink.’”

Miranda selected all the merchandise herself. Store shelves will be full of handmade boots and belts from Corral, Farm Boy & Farm Girl’s line of clothing and home goods, items from Junk Gypsy including clothing, jewelry and other accessories and much more. “It’s antiques, gifts, boots, jeans and pretty much everything you can imagine,” Miranda said.

Miranda has planned a number of events for the Grand Opening. The Pink-aoke area will allow shoppers to sing their favorite songs and marching bands will be on hand throughout the day. The 1st Annual Pink Pistol Princess Pageant will also take place. Contestants will be judged on the creativity of their Pink costumes, their spunkiness and their sass.
