This week on Noteworthy at the Opry, it’s all about Family and Friends. Premiering on GAC on Saturday, November 17 at 9p|8c, the show will include performances from Kevin Costner, his daughter Lily, Wynonna, The Band Perry and The Time Jumpers.

In addition, Lisa Marie Presley, Pistol Annies, Brantley Gilbert, Vince Gill and others will share stories about their own friends and family. “She made it so that when I grew up I was in normal situations, I wasn’t over exposed, I wasn’t pushed out into anything,” Lisa Marie said about her mom, Priscilla Presley.  “I think that grounded me.”

Lily Costner created a special family memory of her own when she performed on the Opry stage while her father looked on. “I was standing in the circle and though he wasn’t right next to me, I could feel him behind me,” she said. “And that father/daughter relationship that we’ve been cultivating for years and working on…it was all there in that moment.”

Noteworthy at the Opry features musical performances and personal stories from the top acts in country music as well as celebrities from outside the genre who share their stories about the music and artists featured each week. Check the schedule for airtimes >>
