Gary Allan‘s new video, “Every Storm Runs Out of Rain,” on USA Today is a message of hope — and Gary himself hopes it inspires fans to continue supporting Hurricane Sandy victims. He was scheduled to play Atlantic City the weekend the hurricane hit.
“Obviously, that got canceled,” he said. “Two weeks later, we shot the video, and it all seemed to make sense.”
Watch the video below:
The video follows a young woman going through a difficult time, at one point even submerging herself in a bathtub. Gary and his band perform the song in the pouring rain between shots of Gary after the storm has cleared. The clip ends with a heartwarming twist for the woman in peril.
“Every Storm Runs Out of Rain” is the lead single from Gary’s new album, expected out in early 2013.
