Kenny Chesney is set to be one of the headlining artists at Rock The Ocean’s inaugural Tortuga Music Festival presented by Landshark Lager on April 13-14 in Fort Lauderdale Beach. The two-day festival will feature more than 20 artists on three stages, located directly on the beach. Confirmed artists include Gary Allan, Eli Young Band, Kip Moore, The Avett Brothers, Gary Clark Jr, Michael Franti & Spearhead, G. Love and Special Sauce and Sister Hazel.
“This is not your average music festival,” producer AJ Niland said. “This festival will showcase world class talent, with world class amenities on a world class beachfront setting. More importantly, it is a festival with a purpose.”
“Live music and the beachfront are rooted in the Landshark lifestyle,” Michael Lourie, Landshark Lager brand manager, said. “In teaming up with Rock the Ocean’s Tortuga Music Festival, we’re excited to showcase a weekend of great music while we raise awareness about the collective responsibility we have to care for our coastlines.”
The sands of Fort Lauderdale Beach will become an oceanfront festival ground. Food from local venues, sustainable seafood and traditional festival favorites will be available. A one-of-a-kind Conservation Village will be on site in partnership with Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation and Ocean Conservancy to provide information on preserving the world’s oceans.
A second headliner and additional artists will be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets to go on-sale Saturday, Dec 15 at www.tortugamusicfestival.com.
