Brad Paisley and wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley have partnered with Nashville-based organization Live Beyond to help bring clean water throughout Thomazeau, Haiti, a very poor suburb of Port au Prince. The couple have launched ‘The Paisley Challenge’ to encourage people to help with Live Beyond’s goal of establishing 100 clean water collection sites.

“Going to Haiti really opened my eyes to the plight of these hundreds of thousands of people–many of them mothers, fathers, and children–who are our neighbors,” Kimberly said. “With Live Beyond…Thirst, we can help give them a basic human necessity they have never had: Clean water. I want to show them they are not forgotten.”

“Water-borne disease is by far the leading cause of illness we treat in our medical clinics,” Dr. David Vanderpool, co-founder of Lead Beyond, said.” If there is one action that will have the greatest impact to community health, it’s providing clean water.”
