Kip Moore is rounding out a breakout year with his second consecutive No. 1. “Beer Money” has topped the chart this week, following his first No. 1, “Somethin’ ‘Bout A Truck” which topped charts for two weeks earlier this year and making him the first solo artist in four years to have an album’s debut single go No. 1 for multiple weeks. His debut album, Up All Night, is the best-selling debut from any country artist released in 2012.

He was also named Country Aircheck’s No. 1 New Artist for 2012 and both of his singles are included in the Top 100 Songs of 2012. In Billboard’s 2012 The Year In Music, Kip is the No. 2 Top New Country Artist, his singles are both in the Top 100 Country Songs and his album ranks at No. 27 on the Top 100 Country Albums.  He also made iTune’s Top 200 Selling Songs of 2012 with “Somethin’ ‘Bout A Truck” and Up All Night is one of GAC’s Top 10 Country Albums of 2012.

Kip recently performed both hit singles on the American Country Awards in Las Vegas where he picked up the award for Most Played Radio Track by a New Artist for “Somethin’ ‘Bout A Truck.”  He just wrapped up touring with Eric Church’s The Blood, Sweat & Beers Tour this fall. He’ll hit the road with Brantley Gilbert in early 2013.

With the holidays upon us, Kip will take some well-deserved time off – to eat his grandmother’s Red Velvet cake! Check out this video of Kip sharing details about his sweet tooth as well as the recipe for red velvet cake in our 12 Days of Country Cookies section!
