If you get a Christmas gift from Greg Bates, he’s willing to bet you’ll think it’s rather lame. He confessed that he’s not the best at shopping for gifts.
“I’m pretty much a horrible gift giver,” he said. “I’m the guy that will give you a gift card or cash because it’s really hard for me to find the one perfect gift to give everybody every year and sometimes it’s just easier and I like to think that if I give somebody a gift card then they can go spend it on whatever they want to spend it on and it’s a lot easier for me.”
Greg said he does at least try to come up with something special for his immediate family but even then, he doesn’t always succeed. But there’s a good chance they’ll be pretty happy to receive the news that Greg’s debut single, “Did It For The Girl,” is in the Top 15 at country radio.
