How would you like to own Brantley Gilbert’s truck? Ram Truck brand is continuing its Road to the Ram Jam country music series by holding the second of five charity auctions where each participating artist will auction off their 2012 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn truck to benefit a charity of their choice. Fans can start bidding on Brantley’s truck on Tuesday, February 5 at 7p|6c.
Last week, Kellie Pickler’s Ram truck was auctioned off and raised $36,200 for the USO Warrior and Family Care program. All proceeds from Brantley’s auction will benefit Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA), the country’s largest non-profit dedicated to supporting the 2.5 million vets of Iraq and Afghanistan and their families. For more information on the charity auction and to bid on Brantley’s truck please visit www.ebay.com/roadtoramjam.
“I am a big supporter of the IAVA so go on and get your bids in so one of you can enjoy this truck while also helping out a great cause,” Brantley said.
“New veterans need a wide-range of support as they transition home, which is why I founded IAVA after getting back from Iraq in 2004,” IAVA’s founder and CEO, Paul Rieckhoff said. “You can help us make an impact by bidding on Brantley’s truck. Every dollar will go to support our programs. Brantley and our friends at Ram are stepping up to help veterans in a big way, and we hope the rest of the country will get on board.”
As part of the Road to the Ram Jam series, Brantley, Kellie, Billy Currington, Zac Brown Band and Easton Corbin each received a one year lease on a 2012 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn truck. Those trucks will be auctioned off in the next three months with all proceeds going to benefit a charity of each artist’s choice. Fans will have two weeks to bid on each artist’s truck.
The Road to the Ram Jam series was the ultimate fan experience, bringing country music fans closer to some of their favorite artists with exclusive video content, the opportunity to win prizes, free music downloads, as well as a chance to enter to win trips for two to the exclusive Ram Jam concert, which took place last December 29 in Nashville.
