Tim McGraw Calls Fans to Announce Ticket On Sale Dates

A few lucky Tim McGraw fans recently got the surprise of a lifetime when they picked up their phones to find Tim on the other end. He called fans in select cities to help announce the first available tickets for his upcoming Two Lanes of Freedom Tour. He partnered with Tumblr to create ‘Fanticipation,’ a program which allows fans to announce through Tumblr when tickets will be available in their hometowns.

Tickets for the following dates will go on sale Fri., Feb. 8:  Charlotte, N.C. (5/3); Raleigh, N.C. (5/4); West Palm Beach, FL (5/10); Atlanta, GA (5/12); Pittsburgh, PA (5/18); St. Louis, MO (5/23); Chicago, IL (5/24); Indianapolis, IN (5/30);  Cleveland, OH (5/31) and Dallas, TX (6/22) with Cincinnati, OH (5/25) going on sale Sat., Feb. 9.  For more information or to purchase tickets, visit or

In celebration of the release of Tim’s new album, Two Lanes of Freedom, he will be making the television rounds. He’ll appear on The Ellen  DeGeneres Show February 5 and later that night, Ram Country on Yahoo! will stream a live performance aboard the USS Midway in San Diego at 7:30 pm PT.

Tim will then visit The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on February 6; stop by GAC’s Daily Countdown at 12p|11c and 6p|5c plus Jimmy Kimmel Live — both on February 7. On February 8 he’ll be the special guest on GAC’s Top 20 Country Countdown at 8p|7c. Also on February 8 he’ll pay tribute to friend and MusiCares Person of the Year Bruce Springsteen, serve as a presenter at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards February 10 and wrap his busy schedule with a visit to Chelsea Lately on February 11.
