Blake Shelton Reaches No. 1 In Just Eight Weeks

Blake Shelton’s latest hit, “Sure Be Cool If You Did,” reached the No. 1 position on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs on Thursday after just eight weeks, marking Blake’s fastest rising single to date. The track is the lead single from Blake’s Based On A True Story… album which is set for a March 26 released. Pre-order the album here.

Besides topping the charts, Blake was also surprised with a plaque on stage  by Sheryl Crow during Tuesday Night Supper Club’s “Sheryl Crow and Friends” event in honor of his GRAMMY nominated album, Red River Blue, recently earning Platinum certification for selling more than one million units. Blake will hit the road on his Ten Times Crazier Tour beginning  July 19 in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Before his tour kicks off, Blake will co-host the ACM Awards alongside Luke Bryan. The ACM Awards will air live on CBS on April 7 at 8p|7c.
